Weinan, Shaanxi, hosted the 2024 "Belt and Road" Printing and Packaging Industry Development Conference from October 23 to 25. The program of events included an official Opening Ceremony, the Weinan National High-Tech Industry Development Zone Investment Promotion Symposium, a Seminar on the High-Quality Development of China's Publishing and Printing Industry, the Printing and Packaging Industry Chain Cluster Development Seminar, and a Printing Equipment Exhibition, all aimed at raising awareness of the Weinan brand within the industry.

Weinan has traditionally been known as the "Granary of Guanzhong" and boasts a rich agricultural history, but in recent years the printing and packaging industry has emerged as a new pillar for the area.

3D printed products

More than 100 printing equipment manufacturing and packaging enterprises have settled in Weinan. By the end of 2023, the city had established 15 industrial multiplier chains, with some 40 key enterprises – including Shaanxi Beiren, Weinan Zhencheng Technology, and Weinan Kesai Machinery and Electronic Equipment – occupying a dominant role in the local printing cluster.
